Nalanda Vidya Peeta (R.), Maddur, founded in 2004, is the brainchild of Sri M. Ramanna, a highly prolific personality engaged in farming and social service, along with his son Mr. R. Ramakrishna, daughter-in-law Mrs. A. C Savitha, and two grandchildren Mr. Abhishek Gowda R. and Mr. Ayush R. Gowda. Mr. Ramakrishna, an experienced educator, nurtures the founder's dream of establishing a full-fledged school catering to the children of middle-income and lower-income groups in society.

Today, Nalanda Vidya Peeta (R.) has blossomed into a flower imparting quality education with an emphasis on Indian values to children from Montessori to the Secondary level. We provide a fertile environment for the holistic development of a child during their formative years.

The entire team at NALANDA VIDYA PEETA works with an eye on making learning more lateral and fulfilling. We believe that the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. At Nalanda Vidya Peeta (R.), we have taken the initiative to enroll children who are slow learners, focusing on the objective of providing support to children belonging to the farming community. Learning is imparted in well-equipped resource rooms supported by well-trained and experienced teachers.
